Start watching Youtube; there are hundreds of free videos waiting for you to start learning UX or UI Design.
Some good videos for starters:
Bonus advice: Read all day on Medium about UX UI Design or choose a book and finish it in 1 day.
Choose a topic. Do research: check market statistics, competitors. Find the biggest companies in that industry. Take screenshots and upload into a Figma file, collect them along your research.
Create a Persona from the research analysis. (Analysis means: Whatever you understand from the research)
Create a Story with that Persona: Research again, understand your Persona, think like he or she is your friend. Empathize her needs and pain points.
Start Sketching: Take a pan and pencil, If you are creating a website, draw some wireframes. Make it quick, don’t stay in this step so long.
Open Figma and Start wireframing.
